I'm Karen- accountant by trade, furniture refinisher by passion - reviving forgotten pieces with flair, precision, and a whole lot of heart. From junk sale finds to vintage gems, I turn the old into bold while keeping it green.

Hi there! I’m Karen - a proud mom of three, a number-loving accountant by day, and a passionate furniture refinisher by heart. I also happen to be an avid gardener and a lifelong bookworm (seriously, I can’t resist a good Sci-Fi a wild Fantasy novel!).

My journey into furniture refinishing began in 2020, when a tight budget led me to a church sale and two charming but tired pieces of furniture. With a bit of paint, a lot of curiosity, and some expert guidance from my husband (a professional painter), I gave those pieces a fresh new look - and discovered a whole new passion.

What started as a budget-friendly DIY project has blossomed into a creative outlet where I get to blend my love for design, detail, and sustainability.
